James "Al" Earl Wilson was born January 1, 1926 in Lubbock to the late James & Adele (Milton) Wilson. He worked in the sheet metal industry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved fishing & antiquing.

Al passed away Friday, July 17, 2009 at his residence at the age of 83 years, 6 months & 16 days.
He will be truly missed by all of the lives he touched.

Waiting for him at heaven's gate are his Mother, Father & step-son: Larry Dale Elliott.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife: Velma Wilson, 1 son: James Wesley Wilson, a step-son: Danny Ray Elliott, 4 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren

Graveside services will be at 1:00pm Monday, July 20, 2009 at City of Lubbock Cemetery with Rev. Ken Horn officiating. Services are under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth
