Jackie Don Tannery, 71, of Lubbock was born July 19, 1954 in Lubbock, TX to Jack Tannery & Elizabeth (Sims) Tannery.  He was a United States Army Veteran.  He went on to Texas Tech and received his EMT license, whom he trained many to become EMT's which he ran into during this year when he was sick.  He later owned County Line Electric.  Jackie was a very giving person and had a very charitable heart.  He and his train could be seen chugging around for the cure.  He took the train to Hope Lodge & Ronald McDonald House.

Jackie went to be with the Lord Sunday, October 26, 2025.  His parents & 3 siblings were waiting at Heaven's gate for him.

Burial will take place Wednesday, November 5, 2025.  A celebration of life will be held Saturday at 2:00pm November 8, 2025  at Jasper's.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Hope Lodge.
