Obituary

"Jack" Bobby Ray Neal, 81, of Lubbock was born March 3, 1934 in Ft. Worth, TX to Frank and Lorreta (Jones) Neal. He was an Electrician and had his own band. He also played with Buddy Holly and Buddy Holly sang a song that Jack wrote.

Jack passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015.

Those left to cherish his memories are his son: Jackie Ray Neal, 2 daughters: Lisa and husband Jerry Whitten, and Carol LaSalle; 1 sister: Lois Owen and husband Wayne; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, his bird: 'Pretty Boy" and his cat "Missy" and a host of family and friends.

The family will greet friends from 5 to 7pm Friday, March 13, 2015 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth. Services will be at 11:00am Saturday, March 14, 2015 in the same chapel with Pastor Jerry Wilson of Southcrest Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at the Wolfforth Cemetery under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth
