Goldie B. Wilson, 69, of Lubbock was born March 18, 1943 in Guymon, Oklahoma to the late Narvel B. Perkins and Goldie Mildred Rau.
She was a cross walk and Avon lady when her kids were young. She worked at the Wolfforth State Bank.
She owned the first state licensed personal care home in Lubbock. She also owned Wilsons' Funeral Directors in Lubbock and in Wolfforth along with The Floral Shoppe for many years.
Goldie went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 17, 2012.
Those preceded her in death are her husband Allan, son Rodney, son-in-law Cameron, friend Charles, brothers James and Ray.
She is survived by her son: Steven R Wilson and wife Terrie, her daughter: Debra Kay Wilson-Duncan; brother: Terry Perkins; 7 grandchildren: Kami, Brandon, Cory, Jacob, and Lacy Wilson, Dillon, and Madison Duncan, Christie Eppers and Devin Weatherford 3 great-grandchildren: Keely Eppers, Jocelyn, and Addison Weatherford.
The family will greet friends from 5 to 7pm Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth.
Services will be at 11:00am Wednesday, November 21, 2012 in the same chapel with Pastor Mike McCreight officiating.
Entombment will be in Wilsons' Funeral Directors Cemetery.
