Glendale "Glen" R.H. Speck, 74, of Lubbock was born March 20, 1940 in Denver City, TX to R.V. Speck & Della Lucille (Gilchrist) Payne. He worked in construction and ran his Speck Dry Wall Business for 60 years. He married Lyndia Kay Herring June 24, 1960 in Lubbock.


Glen went to be with the Lord, Monday, March 16, 2015. He is preceded in death by a son: Lanny Speck and 2 brothers: Wayne Speck and Darrell Speck, and step-father: Roy Lee Payne.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of many years: Lyndia Speck; his daughter: Pamela Kay Wright; 4 sons: Barry, Randy, Danny, & Ronnie Speck; 14 Grandchildren; 11 Great-Grandchildren; 2 sisters: Reta Sport and Vonnie Speck.

Graveside services will be at 11:00am Friday, on Glens birthday, March 20, 2015 at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park with Ronnie Speck officiating. Services are under the care of Wilsons Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
