George Richard Farmer, 88, of Wolfforth was born, September 23, 1925 in Lewisville, Texas, to George & Nell (Allen) Farmer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

George went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 5, 2013. His parents and his son, Jeff Farmer, preceded him in death.


Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife: Goergia Fay Farmer; two daughters: Lisa & husband Lance Phillips and Cindi Snow; one brother: Joe Farmer; and his sister; Jean Higgins; two grandchildren: Lexi and London Phillips.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Wolfforth's First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry Phillips officiating. Cremation is under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
