Gary Wilson France, 75, of Lubbock was born July 28, 1950 in Spur, Texas to Robert France & Emma Marie "Mickie" (Wilson) France. He worked at Coca Cola and later for Santa Fe/ Burlington Northern Railway.  He married Dianne (Rice) Barnett on August 10, 1985 in Lubbock.  Gary enjoyed playing golf, softball, and dancing.

Gary went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 24, 2025.  His parents, a daughter: Tessa Marie France, his grandparents: Tom & Lucille Wilson and George & Bessie France, and 3 brother-in-laws: Larry Jasper, Dale Laminack, & Charles Foreman were all waiting for him at Heaven's gate.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 40 years: Dianne France, his son: Alan Montgomery & wife Alison of Piedmont, South Carolina, 2 daughters: Carol Elmore & husband Kevin of Lubbock & Melissa Anderson of Lawrenceville, Georgia, 5 grandchildren: Gage, Reese, Christian, Hialeah, & Mikayla,  2 sisters: Deloras Ann Wootan & husband Edward, and Gayla Laminack, 2 sister-in-laws: Martha Jasper & Elaine Forman, his nieces & nephews: Christy Robinson, Wayne Laminack, Amy Schumaker, & Kevin Foreman, several great-nieces & great nephews, along with his side-kick: Little Bit (furry friend).

Viewing will be from 1 to 3pm Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth.  Cremation is under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
