Fidencia Lara, 83, of Lubbock was born November 5, 1928 in Navasota, TX to the late Rosario and Juanita (Salinas) Lara. She married Alcario Lara, Sr. March 25, 1947 in Ropesville. She loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed sewing. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Fidencia went to be with the Lord, Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Alcario, Sr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her 3 sons: Joe and Martha Lara, Robert Lara, and Alcario Lara, Jr. and wife Gail; sister: Manuela Lara; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family will greet friends from 6 to 8pm Wednesday at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth.

Services will be at 1:00pm Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012 in the same chapel. Burial will follow at the Wolfforth Cemetery under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
