Esmeralda Anna Lara, 33, of Irving, was born Nov. 11, 1974 to Juan and Rosemary (Maldonado) Lara. She graduated from Frenship High School in 1994. She lived in Dallas & worked in the childcare industry & was going to Cosmetology School, She was a loving daughter, sister and Aunt.
Esmeralda passed away Thursday May 22, 2008 in Dallas.
She is survived by her mother, Rosemary Lara of Lubbock and father Juan Lara of San Juan, Tx; her fiancé: Jose Jorge Moreno of Dallas; 4 sisters: Guadalupe Carrizales of Washington, Norma Casas of Germany, Lisa Aguilar and Rachel Silva both of Lubbock 3 Brothers: Juan Lara, George Lara, and Leopoldo Villarreal all of Lubbock; 22 nieces and nephews.
Viewing will begin at 1:00pm Tuesday at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel. The Rosary will be at 7:00pm Wednesday in the same chapel. The celebration of her life will be at 11:00am Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Lubbock. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
