Ellen Trocchio, 65, of Lubbock was born September 28, 1943 in Deer
Park, Long Island, N.Y. to John D. and Ann Foley. She married Paul
Trocchio, July 21, 1963 in Bellport, N.Y. They moved to Lubbock in 1978 and purchased and operated the KOA Campground until 1991.
Ellen was a very caring and giving person who touched many lives. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, attended a home based bible study group, and spent a lot of time with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Ellen went to be with the Lord Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009. She was
predeceased by her parents & siblings: Veronica Brents, Jeanette Pryor, Daniel Foley, and her brother-in-laws, Carl Mott and John Trocchio.
She is survived by her husband Paul, 2 sons: John of Lubbock, Paul
and wife Darla of Shallowater; 5 grandchildren: Jodi, John Paul II,
Hunter, Madalyn, & Briggs Trocchio; 4 sisters: Pat Mott of Lubbock, Joan O'Donoghue and husband Pat of NewYork, Barbara Jones of Florida and Evelyn Gregory and husband Wayne of North Carolina.
The family will greet friends Thursday between 5 to 7 p.m. at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth. Celebration of Ellen's life will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Shallowater with Rev. Mitch Wilson officiating. Cremation will follow under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
