Edith Autrey's Obituary
Addie Edith Autrey, 72, of Lubbock was born June 18, 1938 in Carter County, Oklahoma to Henry and Floy (Evans) Lee.
She married the love of her life, Bill Autrey, April 22, 1953 in Brownwood, TX. She loved to fish, dance, and gardening. She also helped her husband farm and canned fruits and vegetables.
Edith passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at her residence.
She is preceded in death by her siblings: Grover, Roy, W.C."Cotton", Billy, Mary Sue, and Willie Mae Lee.
Edith is survived by her husband Bill Autrey, Michael and wife Amanda Lee and their son all of Shallowater, Judy and her husband David and their 4 children all of Henderson, Nevada; her sister: Bonnie and her husband Rob Autrey of Lake Proctor, TX, a brother: Butch Lee of Shallowater; her sister-in-law: Betty Busch of Lubbock and numerous nieces and nephews all over Oklahoma and Texas
The family will greet friends from 6 to 8pm today, July 8, 2010 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel. Services will at 10:00am Friday, July 9, 2010 in the same chapel with Pastor Bill Campbell of First Baptist Church of Anton officiating. Burial will follow at the Wolfforth Cemetery.
