Earlene Stroud, 72, of Wolfforth was born June 30, 1937 in Ralls, TX to Morgan Lloyd and Opal Leona (White) Crabb. She married Dale "Bitz" Stroud October 30, 1954 in Clovis, NM. He passed away Dec. 13, 2008. She was the manager for Ballinger Healthcare for 25 years.

She was a wonderful wife, mother & grandmother. She loved her garden. Everyone lovingly called her Granny.

Earlene passed away Friday, May 14, 2010. She is preceded in death by her brothers: Leroy Crabb, Bo Crabb and her sister Billie Anderson

She is survived by her children Larry Stroud of Wolfforth, Lonnie and wife Debbie Stroud, Jackie and wife Norma Stroud all of Lubbock; 14 grandchildren, 26 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Sisters: Betty Barker of New Deal and Janie Mandrell of Lubbock and 2 nieces, Pricilla Crabb of Lubbock and Debbie Crabb of Dallas. The family would like to give a special thanks to Linda Nelson.

The family will greet friends from 5 to 7pm Sunday, at Wilsons' Funeral Directors.

Graveside services will be at 2:00pm Monday, May 17, 2010 at the Wolfforth Cemetery with Betty Barker and Nancy Edge officiating.
