David Lee Rich, 80, of Wolfforth was born February 22, 1944 in Sinton, TX to Robert Truman Rich and Irene (Roe) Rich. He worked for TxDot for several years before retiring.  He married Geraldine James, December 28, 1964 in Wolfforth.

David went to be with the Lord Friday June 7, 2024.

His parents and 3 brothers: Jim, Charles, & Daniel Rich all were waiting at Heaven's gate for him.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 59 years: Geraldine Rich, son: Sean Rich & wife Shana, daughter: Denise Jones & husband Phillip, grandchildren: Justin Skarda & wife Rebecca, Lacie Buck & husband Tyler, Kinsey & Kaylee Rich, great-grandson: Riley Buck, great-granddaughter: Novalee Skarda, sister-in-law: Barbara Rich, 4 nieces: Wendy Blasingame, Shelley Cooper, Becky Welfmeyer, & Donna Rich, 1 nephew: James Rich, along with his cousins: Dane Mosmeyer & wife Courtney, & Tara Mosmeyer.

Graveside services will be at 10:30am Saturday, June 15, 2024 at the Wolfforth Cemetery with Bro. Monty Hilliard of Quaker Ave. Baptist Church officiating.  Services are under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.

The family suggest in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to Quaker Ave. Baptist Church or to a favorite charity.
