David Lee Redinger, 79, of Lubbock went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 9, 2013. He was born February 24, 1934 in Logan, Kansas to the late Forrest and June (Freeby) Redinger. He married Barbara Page April 4, 1954 in Phillipsburg, Kansas. She passed away July 6, 2007. He was a very loving father, husband, and grandfather.

He enjoyed playing the piano and was in a Jazz Band in the 70's and 80's. He also enjoyed golfing. He retired from U.S. Geological Survey after several years of service.

David is survived by three children: Laura Baker of Lubbock, Steven Redinger of San Antonio, and Sheryl Owens of Lubbock; four grandchildren: Derek, Kimberly, Zachary, and Lindsey; and a great-granddaughter: Chloe.

Memorial services will be at 2:00pm Friday, March 15, 2013 at Green Lawn Church of Christ in Lubbock with Larry Hays officiating.

Cremation is under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth with burial at City of Lubbock Cemetery.
