Darlene Fay Hughes, 50, of Abernathy, was born on November 15, 1975, in Fort Worth, Texas. She worked with her brother at Lubbock Glass & Mirror. Darlene enjoyed caring for her horses and dogs.

Darlene went to be with the Lord May 20, 2026.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Nathaniel “Nat” Hughes; her brother, Frank Maynard; her niece, Shayla Maynard; and numerous friends.

No services are planned at this time. Cremation is under the care of Wilsons’ Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
