Cora "Nana" Faye Davis, 87, of  Lubbock, was born May 9, 1934 in Scott County, Arkansas to Thomas Jess Emery & Agnes Loretta Brewer-Emery.  Cora married David Davis March 29, 1956.  He passed away Feb. 28, 1988.  Cora was a Home Health care provider.  She enjoyed watching t.v., doing puzzles, playing cards, & word search.

Cora went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 16, 2021.  Her 3 children: Dhonda Faye Cervantez, Michael Dwayne Davis, &  Karen Louis Ammons, and her sister: Sybil Emery and 2 half-sisters: Lana & Ruby Webb, a half-brother: David Emery and one grand-daughter all preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish her memories are her son: David Blane Davis, a daughter: Rhonda Gene & husband Billy Warren,  her son-in-law Bobby Ammons, 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, & great- great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be from 5 to 7pm Friday October 22, 2021 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel. Graveside services will be 3:00pm Saturday October 23, 2021 at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park with Pastor Mike Martindale of The Heights Fellowship officiating.  Services are under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
