Clarence Eugene Oswalt, 81, of Wolfforth was born August 5, 1927 in Brookhaven, TX to Clyde and Mrytle (Campbell) Oswalt.
He married Betty Conway on December 20, 1949 in Lubbock. He served as an elder and a member of Ropesville Church of Christ. He was a farmer, rancher and was active in his community and various agricultural industries for years.
Clarence passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2009.
He was survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Betty of Wolfforth, his son, Charles Oswalt and wife Paula of Brownfield; his daughter Barbara Teel and husband Robert of Lubbock; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:00am Friday, February 6, 2009 at the Ropesville Church of Christ with Steve McLean, Don Campbell and Oscar Batton officiating. Burial will follow at City of Lubbock Cemetery under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society or Cal Farley's Boys Ranch are suggested.
