Clara Colleen Long, 85, of Longview, passed away October 5, 2019. She was born May 7, 1934 in Lamesa, TX to Irvin Barnes and Clara Mae (Greene) Barnes. She married Donald Joe Long, July 1, 1950 in Odessa. He passed away April 8, 2012 after 61 years of marriage. Together they managed the La Quinta Inn in Odessa. 2 brothers: James Otis Barnes & William R Barnes both preceded her in death.

Colleen is survived by her children, Joe Dean Long & his wife Debbie of Ocala, Fl , Teresa Beck Gilbert & her husband Allen of Mindeu, Louisiana, 2 brothers: Melton Gibson & wife Jane of Burleson, TX & George Irvin Barnes of Altus, OK, 3 sisters: Joyce Bownds & husband Jack of Lubbock, Ferne Knox of Houston, & Debra Moore of Altus, OK, 4 grandchildren, Scott & his wife Sonia Beck, Brian Beck, Kristen Fagan & her husband Jimmy, Lindsay Pavlas & her husband Davin, 4 great-grandsons, 5 great-granddaughters, 1 great great grandson, & numerous nieces and nephews.
