Chris E. Studer, 99, of Lubbock was born April 18, 1919 in Inville, OK to Amos and Rosetta (Goode) Shewmake. She married Chester Earl Studer July 28, 1951 in Lovington, NM. He passed away July 6, 1995 after 44 years of marriage. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, going to the flea market, and working in her garden. She also quilted and canned.

Chris went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 16, 2018. Her parents, husband, her son: Perry Williams, a granddaughter: Adriana Gillit, 9 brothers: Eligh, John, Dub, Alfred, W.K., Marvin, Albert, George, & J.B., and her sister:
Lena all preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish her memories are her 2 daughters: Jane & husband Max Gillit, and Shirley & husband Buddy Whitson,
6 grandchildren: Justin, Shane, Mike, Tina, Angie, & Christina, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson and a daughter-in-law: Pat Williams.

Services will be at 11:00AM Friday, September 21, 2018 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth with Christina Fraley officiating. Entombment will be in Wilsons' Funeral Directors Cemetery under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
