Charles "G Dad" Edward Oswalt, 65 of Ropesville was born September 5, 1955 in Lubbock to Clarence Eugene Oswalt & Betty Florence Conway-Oswalt.  He went to Texas Tech.  He married Paula Fleming March 18,1981 in Loop, TX.  He was a member of Wolfforth Church of Christ.  He worked in pest control for 27 years including pest control at TDCJ prison.  He also took care of the livestock at Girls Town, USA.  He also was a farmer, working along side his son Clayton.  Charles enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Charles went to be with the Lord Saturday, August 7, 2021.   His father preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish his memories are his mother: Betty Oswalt, his wife of 40 years: Paula Oswalt, his son: Clayton Oswalt & wife Stephanie, his daughter Katie Guzman & husband Jordan, 4 grandchildren: Clyde, Charlie, Evanie, & Emma,  a sister: Barbara Teel & husband Robert, 2 nieces: Jennifer & Stephanie, 4 great-nieces & nephews: Marlowe, Todd, Georgia, & Brynn, and his dog, Jake.

Graveside services will be at 10:00am Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the Ropesville Cemetery with Ed Jones officiating.  Services are under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.

The family suggest in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Cal Farley's Boy's Ranch or to a favorite charity.
