Charlene Richardson Holt

Charlene Richardson Holt, 81, of Lubbock went to be with the Lord on June 23, 2026.

She was born June 12, 1945 to Charlie Richardson and Mary Moore (Kumpe) Richardson in Quanah Texas. She married Virgil Holt in Las Vegas Nevada on March 10, 1990.

She worked in the bookkeeping field and had two businesses she owned and operated for many years. She enjoyed taking trips with her husband in their RV to see family and friends. Charlene would go enjoy the Blue Grass Band every chance she could. Charlene loved documenting her family genealogy and had eight generations documented in detail. She loved to cook, bake, and she was extremely proud of all her recipes. She encouraged everyone to try and out bake her, but no one ever could.

Her loved ones, including her husband Virgil, parents: Charlie Richardson & Mary Kumpe Richardson, siblings, & her daughter Cheryl Lynn Wartes all preceded her in death.

Those left to Cherish her memory include her 2 sons: William E. Wartes and Charles A. Clark. 2 stepsons: Virgil Allen Holt Jr. and Russell Marvin Holt, 2 Grandsons: William Biswell (Cinder LeBlanc) and Jess Clark, siblings, and numerous others who loved her.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00am Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Marvin Cemetery, Little River county road, in South Wallace, Arkansas. Services are under the care of Wilsons’ Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
