Charlene Pittman High, 64, of Lubbock was born May 20, 1951 in Dallas, Texas to Will "Cotton" and Eunice (Clowers) Pittman. She worked at Best Maid Pickles in Ft. Worth for several years. She married Howard High November 13, 1987 in Yazoo, Mississippi. She enjoyed music, dominos and playing cards with her family. She was a very strong woman.
Charlene went to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 26, 2016. Those waiting in Heaven for her are her daughter: Bernice Bland, Granddaughter: Kendall Carter, 2 Brothers: Melvin & Lynn Pittman; and her sister: Brenda Martinez.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 28 years: Howard High; 4 children: Brenda (Joe) Ruthardt of Lubbock; Donna Smith (Travis) of Abilene, Penny (John) Prater of Breckenridge; and Michael High of North Carolina; 19 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren; 3 siblings: Connie (Bobby) Simmons of Nacona, TX; Steven Pittman (Melissa) of Grand Prairie, TX, and Rosie Pittman (Vinson) of Ft. Worth, TX.
Memorial services will be at 10:00am Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth with Jack Stone of Muleshoe officiating. Cremation is under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors.
