Casper Lea Mason, 45, of Lubbock was born February 7, 1979, in Lubbock to Roger Dale Mason & Betty Kay Shrimpton-Mason.  He worked as a CNA at a nursing home in Owensville, Missouri for over 23 years before moving to Lubbock.   He then was a technician at SERVPRO for 5 years. Casper enjoyed his fire balls but mostly he enjoyed life and being with his family.  He had a heart of gold and would help anyone.  SERVPRO awarded Casper "Employee of The Month" in June 2024.  In honor of Casper, his employer started the "Casper Award" to be given to employees who are reliable and dedicated like Casper was.

Casper went to be with the Lord Monday December 2, 2024.  His grandparents: Don & Helen Shrimpton and great-grandmother: Pearl Farmer, along with his great-grandparents: Syl & Mary Francis Shrimpton were waiting for him at Heaven's gate.

Those left to cherish his memories are his mom: Betty Mason, his dad: Roger Mason, grandmother: Ola Nettles, a daughter: Alyssa Marie Mason, 4 grandchildren:  Mila, Ryker, Aspen, & Taylor, 2 sisters: Sherry Shrimpton (Boris Cravin) & Morgan Mason, a brother: Kenneth Mason (Nina), 4 uncles: Jimmy Mason (Primor), Donny, Ronny, & Lonny Shrimpton, 4 aunts: Linda Gillman (Danny), Carrie Shrimpton, Lola Mills, Mary Mills, a niece: Meagan Shrimpton (Xavier Childress), a nephew: Darrian Shrimpton (Brandi), his special friend: Amber Williams, along with numerous cousins.

Cremation is under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.  A memorial service will be at 11:00am Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at New Horizon Baptist Church at 2805 98th St. Lubbock, TX 79423.
