Carrie Lynne "Punkin" Richerson, 33, was born July 28, 1989 in Lubbock to Carey Don Richerson and Wanda Jane Kunkel-Richerson.  She graduated from New Deal High School.  Punkin loved music, singing, family, and her faith.  She had a gift for gab and could make friends with anyone.  She always lit up the room.

Punkin went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 23, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.  She was welcomed home by her dad: Carey Don Richerson, her mom: Wanda Richerson, and big sisters, Amy Richerson and Crystal Wilcox.

Those left to cherish her memories are her 2 sons: Caydon and Mason, 1 brother: Jeremy and Erica, 2 sisters; Jamee Pate and her husband Jason Pate & Amanda Richerson, 4 nieces: Elayna Wilcox, Katelyn Medina & husband Paris, Gracyn Murillo, & Braelynn, and 3 great nephews: Maddox, Damon & Rome.

Celebration of Life Services will be at 5:00pm Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 2507 Alma St. Lubbock, TX 79415.

Cremation was under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to the autism or down syndrome foundations, Grace Manor non-profit.
