Carolyn Joy Williams, 74, of Wolfforth was born March 29, 1942 in Lubbock to John and Ruth (Anderson) Smith. She was a homemaker, loved to play bingo, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Roosevelt. She married James Williams October 5. 1972. He passed away Nov. 8, 2013.


Carolyn went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 26, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, her son Malcolm, and a brother R.L.


Those left to cherish her memories are her 4 daughters: Tammie and husband Tom Cox, Angel Hahn, Shonda and husband Brad Mowery, and Carylon and husband Ray Cunningham; 2 sons: Leonard Williams and wife Sandra, and Larry Williams; 11 Grandchildren, 18 Great- Grandchildren, 2 brothers: James and Jerry Smith; 4 sisters: Bonnie Hunt, Wanda Dunn, Linda Cook, and Nita Hemme.


Carolyn's family will greet friends from 6 to 8pm Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth. Services will be at 10:00am Friday, July 29, 2016 in the same chapel with Pastor Bobby Magee officiating. Burial will follow at the Wolfforth Cemetery under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
