Caroline Jenice Vaughn, 71, of Los Alimentos, California and formerly of Plainview, TX was born Saturday, October 12, 1946 in Plainview to the late Thomas and Mayzelle (Chandler) McDonald. She married Leonard "Butch" Vaughn. He preceded her in death May 25, 1985. Caroline managed apartments and also worked at Republic Bank in California for several years. She enjoyed sewing, bowling, shopping and working in her garden. Her favorite vacation was going to Moonstone Beach in Northern California. She loved her fur baby, Fletch.

Caroline went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 31, 2018.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter: Donia Mestas, 2 sons: Robert and Jonathan Vaughn; 3 grandchildren: Christopher & Courtney Mestas, and Todd "Fox" Vaughn; 3 Great-Grandchildren: Benjamin Dzaidus, Joseph & Vivian Mestas; her brother: Tommy and wife Sue McDonald, and her sister: Rebecca Denning, along with 2 nephews: John & Cory McDonald.

Memorial services will be at 10:00am Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth with Mark McMillan officiating. Inurnment will be in Wilsons' Funeral Directors Cemetery with her beloved husband.
