Carl Darrell Tarter, 90, of Lubbock was born March 1, 1931 in Snyder, TX to Carl E. Tarter & Carrie McGuire-Tarter.  He was a United States Air Force Veteran.  He married Tommie Bandine April 9, 1957 in Harlingen, TX.

Carl went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 28, 2021 in Greeneville, TN.  His parents, a daughter: Wanda Sue Tarter,  and a brother: Billy Tarter all preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish his memories are Carl's wife of 64 years: Tommie Tarter, 4 daughters: Evelyn Douglas, Betty Ann Williams, Dorothy Moore, & Peggy Jean Roberds, 2 brothers: Alvis & Powell Tarter, along with 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:00pm Saturday, August 7, 2021 in Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth with Pastor Lupe Perez officiating.  Military Honors will be provided by United States Air Force.  Entombment will be in Wilsons' Funeral Directors Cemetery under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
