Bobby Joe Shepard, 56, of Lubbock and formerly of Ropesville, was born November 22, 1957 in Lubbock to George Shepard and Dorothy (Hillhouse) Shepard. He lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed painting and working on cars. He truly will be missed. He was a beloved Son, Brother, and Uncle.

Bobby died Saturday, May 24, 2014 at University Medical Center after a battle with cancer.

Those left to cherish his memories are his mother: Dorothy Hewelett of Ropesville; 7 brothers and sisters: Greg, Glen, Ronald, Gary, Reba, Audrey Garrett, and George Shepard; his favorite nephew: Steven Todd Shepard; along with several friends and relatives.


The family will schedule a private service at a later date. Cremation is under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
