Billy Dan Beniefield, of Post and formerly of Lubbock was born December 14, 1947 in Lubbock, TX to Frank & Elda (Hutton) Beniefield. He married Edith Bishop August 25, 1972 in Lubbock. He enjoyed fishing and being with his family.

Billy went to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 9, 2019. His parents, a sister: Elda Fay Rolen, a brother: Larry Dale Beniefield, and a grandson: Shannon Lee Anthony Beniefield all preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 46 years: Edith Beniefield, his son: Dan (Brandy) Beniefield of Amarillo, his sister: Sharon Chase of Austin, 3 grandchildren: Daniel, Cody, and Elijah, numerous nieces and nephews including Rita Fisher, Jennett Azinarro, Frank Rolen, & Jim Chase.

Graveside services will be at 2:00pm Friday, April 12, 2019 at City of Lubbock Cemetery with Pastor Matthew Thompson of Interim Hospice officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth, TX.
