Billie "Marie" Hatley-Langston, 94, of Lubbock was born October 3, 1929 in Hereford, TX to Joseph Levi Hatley and Ola Dee Lowery-Hatley. Marie graduated from Brownwood High School and attended South Plains College.  She was the owner of several Lubbock properties along with her son Dean Bolton.  Marie loved to garden, sew, travel and dance, but most of all she loved her family and her fur babies.

Marie passed away Monday March 11, 2024.  She is preceded in death by her parents: Levi & Ola Hatley, her brother: Levi Hatley, Jr., her first husband, Harold Ray Bolton, whom she married May 24, 1947 in Gustine, TX for 25 years until his passing. Her second husband William Harold "W.H." Langston whom she married August 1, 1972 in Clovis, NM passed away January 2, 1973.

Those left to cherish her memories are her 2 children: Dean Bolton of Lubbock and Darlene Marie Humphries & her husband Greg Humphries of Tontitown, Arkansas, her granddaughter: Claire Marie (Humphries) Stone and husband Sean Stone of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and her great-granddaughter: Scarlett Marie Stone, along with her 3 chihuahuas: Peppy, Cuddles, & Bibi.

Memorial services will be at 11:00am Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth.  Services are under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors & Cemetery in Wolfforth.

In lieu of flowers, family suggest donations be made to one of the Lubbock Animal Shelters or to a favorite charity.
