Betty Lou Gallagher, 71, of Lubbock was born February 21, 1939 in Cleveland, OH to George & Mary (McKnight) Jackson. She married Bill Gallagher in 1963 in Cleveland, OH. She was an avid fan of Nascar & loved animals, especially her beloved dog, Brandy.

Betty passed away Monday, March 1, 2010. Her son, Richard Tennyson preceded her in death.

She will be truly missed by her husband: Bill Gallagher, her son: Tom Gallagher and his wife Diana, her daughter-in-law, Debbie Tennyson of Atlanta, Georgia, 4 Grandchildren: Christina, Tony, Billy & his wife Tasha, & Josh; 3 Great-Grandchildren: Bryce, Gage and Rylee; and her special friends: Kyle & Maxine Hollingshead.

She is celebrating her reunion with her son, Rick and her beloved pets that have been waiting for her.


The family will greet friends from 5 to 7pm Wednesday at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel.

Services will be at 2:00pm Thursday, March 4, 2010 in the same chapel with Chaplain June Downing officiating. Entombment will be in Wilsons' Funeral Directors Cemetery.


Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Gallagher, Anthony Gallagher, Axle Dillard, Kevin Rains, Vester Nutt, and Larry Walker.
