Beatrice Elizabeth Stroud Lee of Lubbock, was born March 17, 1932 in Columbus, Texas to Fredrick William Beckmeyer and Louine Augusta (Venghaus) Beckmeyer. She farmed in Akerly and sang and played piano at church. She was a wonderful, loving person who will be greatly missed.

Bea went to be with the Lord Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the age of 82 years, 6 months, and 15 days.

She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband: Ken Stroud, husband: Brice Lee, brother: Charles Beckmeyer and a great-grandbaby: Sterling Stafford.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter: Cindy & husband Terry Riddle, son: Randy Stroud; grandchildren: Vaughn & Kristen Stafford, Doug & Ashton Riddle, Diana & Sam Conlee, Mikki & Karson Bevers, Christina & Darren Vickers, Joshua Stroud & Brittany Stroud; great-grandchildren:, Skylar Timms, Aiden Conlee, Brayden Stafford, Ace Warren, and Natalie Conlee, Dax Riddle, Emma Bevers, Madison Stroud & Kylie Stroud, and numerous extended family

The family will greet friends from 4 to 6pm Sunday Oct. 5, 2014 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth. Graveside services will be at 4:00pm Monday, October 6, 2014 at the Lamesa Memorial Park in Lamesa
