Audelia Sanchez, 58, of Lubbock was born January 31, 1952 in Raymondville, Texas to Pablo Garcia and Natalia Garcia Zamora. She married Santos Sanchez July 4, 1972 in Alamo, Texas. She was a homemaker and enjoyed selling nick knacks at the flea market. She was a strong Catholic. She was an avid soccer and football fan.

Audelia passed away Thursday, September 16, 2010.

She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, Juan Garcia.

Her memory will be cherished by her husband Santos Sanchez of Lubbock; four sons, Tommy and wife Eva Sanchez, Jose Angel Sanchez and Sandra Espinoza, Celso Sanchez all of Lubbock, and Carlos Rosales of Colorado; three daughters, Maria Estela (Stela) Sanchez, Trinidad and husband Donnie Powers all of Lubbock, and Emelia Sanchez of Colorado; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; her father, Pablo Garcia of Mexico; one brother; six sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews and her beloved Chihuahuas.

Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Monday, September 20, 2010 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth with viewing beginning on Sunday. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday September 21, 2010 in the same chapel. Burial will follow at Wolfforth Cemetery under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.

Pallbearers will be Tomas Sanchez, Adam Aguirre, Joshua Sanchez, Joe Anthony Sanchez, Nicholas Espinoza, and Ernie Prieto. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Powers and Paul Sanchez.
