Albert Rodriguez 86, of San Marcos and formerly of Lubbock was born March 15, 1938 in Cuero, TX to Antonio and Evelyn (Cisneros) Rodriguez.  He was raised in El Campo, Texas where he worked on the rice farms.  Albert liked to dance and to enjoy life.

Albert went to be with the Lord Friday October 11, 2024 in San Marcos.  His parents, a son: Richard, 3 brothers: Antonio, Freddie, & Mike Rodriguez, 4 sisters: Mary Mendoza, Emma Macias, Gertrude Cuella and Flora all were waiting for him at Heaven's gate.

Those left to cherish his memories are his companion of 40 years: Flabia "Clara" Prieto, 7 children: Gloria, Albert Jr., James, John Paul, Gracie Salazar, Nora Evalra, and Nancy Mendoza, 4 step-children: Olga Barnes, Oscar Prieto, Rita Acebedo, & Paul Prieto, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, & great-great-grandchildren, his sister: Patsy "Petra" Kretzmeier, along with numerous nieces & nephews.

Rosary will be at 6:00pm Friday, October 18, 2024 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth.  Services will be at 2:00pm Saturday, October 19, 2024 in the same chapel with Rev. Msgr. David Cruz officiating.  Burial will follow at the Wolfforth Cemetery under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
